22nd
April was the opening night of studio, where an exhibition
by a Bali based photographer Arvid Nicolas took place.
“Evolution”
photographs collected from the middle East, Indonesia and
around, tells a story of human evolution through times, culture,
religion and places.
Beirut,
Jordan, Papua, Timor, Java, Bali to Flores. These were taken
by Arvid when working mostly for travel and cultural editorial
works.
“Each
and every image I captured behind my lens, tells a rich story
of mankind; the legacy of those before us and even before
them, what we destroyed and have achieved. The question is
how long more can the world last?”
Arvid
say that the least he can do is to remind us all is to present
this visual journey of his, and hopefully it will be a reminder
to us all of the world we’re living in and preserve
it better.
